A Place to Find the Perfect Meal
Taco Pie
1 lb ground beef
1/2 C onion, chopped
1pkg taco seasoning
1 C Monterey Jack cheese. (mozerella or cheddar can be sustituted)
3 tomatoes, sliced
1 1/4 C milk
3 eggs (3 whites, one yolk)
salsa, sour cream, shredded lettuce for toppings
Brown beef and onions. Drain and stir in taco seasoning
Spread on bottom of 10" pie plate.
In separate bowl, beat together milk, biscuit mix and eggs until smooth.
Spread over meat mixture.
Bake at 400 for 25 minutes.
Top with tomato slices and grated cheese and bake 5 more minutes.
Cut into wedges and serve with toppings
