Slow Cooker Lasagna
8 lasagna noodles, cooked and broken into bite sized pieces
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
3/4 C chopped onion
2 14 oz cans tomatoes with juice. (broken up)
1 can tomato paste (5 1/2 oz can)
1 C cottage Cheese
2 C grated mozzarella
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp basil
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Optional - green pepper, red pepper, mushrooms, grated parmesan cheese, Italian spice
Brown ground beef in skillet.
Drain.
Place in slow cooker.
Add remaining ingredients as well as noodles.
Stir together and cover.
Cook on low 7-9 hours or on high 3 1/2 -4 1/2 hours
Makes 10 cups.
