A Place to Find the Perfect Meal
French Onion Soup for the Slow Cooker
1 box of beef broth
2-3 cups of onions
1 tsp parsley
3 bay leaves
croutons
mozzarella cheese
parmesan cheese
Add beef broth, parsley and bay leaves to the slow cooker, set on low.
Saute onions in pan with butter until clear. Then add them to the slow cooker, cover and set for approx 8 hours. Once done, discard the bay leaves and add the onion soup to individual oven baked dishes and add croutons and mozzarella on top with a sprinkle of parmesan. Bake at 375 degrees until cheese is golden brown. Let set (very HOT!!) and enjoy.
