A Place to Find the Perfect Meal
Molasses Doughnuts
3/4 C sugar
3 Tbsp soft butter
3/4 C milk
2 eggs
1/4 C molasses
3 C flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Cream sugar and butter.
Add milk, eggs and molasses. Mix well.
Combine dry ingredients and then add to the molasses mixture. Mix well.
Refrigerate for 1 1/2 hours. Roll on floured board to 1/2 inch thickness.
Fry in 375 degree oil til golden brown. Toss in sugar.
