Friendship Brownies

1c + 2 tbsp flour
2/3 c packed brown sugar
¾ tsp salt
2/3 c sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/3 c cocoa
½ c semisweet chocolate chips
½ c chopped walnuts

Pour flour into a 1 qt glass container. Layer rest of ingredients (do not mix). Cover and store in a cool dry place for up to 6 months.


Additional ingredients:
3 eggs
2/3 c vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla

To prepare brownies:

In a bowl beat eggs, oil and vanilla. Add to brownie mix and stir well. Spread into a greased 9 inch square baking pan. Bake at 350o for 34-38 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
