A Place to Find the Perfect Meal
Chili
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 tsp celery salt
Italian seasoning or pizza spice
Chili powder ( 1 Tbsp or to taste )
garlic powder
1 can tomato paste
1 (19 oz) can brown beans
1/2 tsp oregano
1 med. onion - chopped
1 can mushroom pieces and stems
salt and pepper
1 (19 oz ) can diced tomatoes
1 (19 oz) can kidney beans
1/2 cup ketchup
Brown hamburger. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer to thicken over low heat. (Also works well in slow cooker.) It will take a few hours. Stir from time to time.
